It’s late-night already, but I cannot wait for a second longer to write this article about some essential addons for firefox I’m using daily for myself. There were many situations I recommended others to check out these addons, and recently I felt the need to start writing some articles about. If you didn’t know these tools already, you’d freak out on them.
Installing Addons in Firefox
You can search and install addons for Firefox by going to “Tools” >> “Addons”. After installing you’ll have to restart Firefox (as I use Firefox, this article is a bit focused on Firefox, but most addons are available for other browsers, too).
Firebug
Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of web development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live on any web page. Also available as Firebug Lite for other browsers. More info: http://getfirebug.com/
MeasureIt
Draw a ruler across any web page to check page elements’ width, height, or alignment in pixels. Available for Firefox, Chrome, Safari. More info: http://www.kevinfreitas.net/extensions/measureit/
ColorZilla
Advanced Eyedropper, Color Picker, Palette Viewer, and other colorful goodies for your Firefox.

So, I think this is enough for today. Soon I’m going to introduce some more nice tools. There will also come articles showing how to use the one or other plugin exactly. The next one is Firebug.
Have fun and don’t forget to go to sleep. ;)
Any thoughts or other nice stuff to show? Well, leave a comment!
